The North-East Enterprise Awards 2017 are designed to limelight the growing league of SMEs within the region and allow these enterprises to rejoice their accomplishments, customer service and performance over the previous twelve months. As with all our award programmes, each of our winners are judged based on merit and merit alone.

As a business community, the SME’s of the United Kingdom are renowned for their ability to thrive under the most diverse of circumstances and as our country treads an uncertain political path, regarding the EU referendum, the dedication of the UK’s SME’s remain the backbone of the UK ensuring the growth of our economy year on year.

Small to medium enterprises (SMEs) have become increasingly important to the UK’s economy in recent years, making up 99.9% of all private sector businesses. One of the fastest increases in small to medium start-ups was recorded in the North East of England with an 8% increase of SMEs each year, which was the highest increase from all UK regions in 2016.

Not only are SME owners able to recognise and identify space within their chosen market place but they are also able to connect with customers and clients on a personal level ensuring a premium level of service and highly targeted product year on year.

This prestigious program is open to any business trading in the United Kingdom that identifies as a small to medium sized enterprise. The aim of our 2020 UK Enterprise Awards is, without a doubt, to find the best businesses across the nation! If successful, this accolade provides you with the affirmation that you truly are a leader within your field as well as providing you with the opportunity to share your business amongst our circulation and website users.

As with all of the SME-News awards, the 2017 UK Enterprise Awards are based on merit, not the number of votes received. Our process works to ensure that we reward parties based on their excellence in the industry, the quality of their products and their dedication to customer service.

To move successfully from nominee to winner, there must be evidence of extensive expertise and skills, dedication to customer service and client satisfaction with an on-going commitment to excellence and innovation demonstrated by the nominated business.
