Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs

Imvelo strives daily to contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 in order to preserve our planet, end world poverty, and gain a greater sense of peace, purpose, and prosperity. We can only achieve this by working with businesses who can embrace the same motivations.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (or SDGs for short) set out and explain the key priorities to be worked on over the next decade. Solving these issues could result in ends to extreme poverty, inequality, injustice, and climate catastrophe. The SDGs offer some hope, as governments around the world have vocalised their support and have begun to take action.
Now it’s time for businesses of all shapes and sizes to show how responsible they are, how they can lead from the front, and how they can apply all of the tools and support available (analogue, digital, and human) to make sustainability a core focus rather than an afterthought.
The Sustainable Development Goals provide a powerful aspiration for improving our world — laying out where we collectively need to go and how to get there.

Imvelo was founded on these core values and continues to develop and embed them in the work we do with our clients.

These are our priorities.

How do the SDGs apply to my business?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have highlighted the key areas and opportunities for improving this planet as a collective. Now we know how to get a better world and change is in our hands, so with the help of everyone, especially businesses with financial capabilities and adequate human resources, the primary goal should be easy to achieve. No business is
excluded.

Global challenges – ranging from climate change, resource consumption and production, to education, gender equality, sustainable cities and decent work and economic growth – all need solutions that organisations can deliver, representing a large and growing market for business innovation.
